Dog-Friendly Dallas

Dallas Dog Park

We let the dogs out! In Dallas the abundance of adorable pups gracefully trotting along the Katy trail lounging by patio dwellers feet or strutting their stuff at local events is simply delightful if you are accompanied by a loyal 4-legged companion. Rest assured Dallas offers a plethora of opportunities to showcase their charm whether they snugly fit in your Birkin or boast a more substantial stature they're warmly welcomed in various locales across the city.

Favorite Paw-tios:

Katy Trail Ice House

The Katy Trail Ice House stands as the quintessential Dallas dog friendly patio where majestic oak trees provide ample shade and the melodies of Texas song singer songwriters fill the air creating a charming ambiance for dogs to mingle and frolic with newfound companions.

Toulouse

Most weekends we can be found brunching at Toulouse on Knox. Pretty much without fail we see this coiffed couple (we’re in trail clothes, another thing to like about Toulouse) sipping champagne with their two Pomeranians in tow reminding us that Fido friendly venues extend beyond rustic outdoor settings.

Mutts CantinaMutt’s Cantina

Its all in the name on this one. Designed to bring Dog owners together, share a brew and enjoy the gorgeous Dallas skyline. Head on over to Yappy Hour and make some new friends! Walk. Swim. Run.

Looking for the perfect place to give your pup a well-deserved stretch after all that lounging on patios? We got you!

Katy Trail Dallas

Beautifully landscaped with miles and miles of paved trails for your pup and plenty to do if you decide to jet off the path... coffee at Foxtrot anyone?

Dog Park at White Rock Park

If your Dog is a water lover, this recreational haven is for you! BYOT. Bring your own towels. They can hop in the water to paddle or play within one of the two fenced “OFF -LEASH” dog paddocks. Two acres for the big dogs and one acre for the smaller pups.  Closes on rain days and Monday. Check site if weather is questionable.

My Best Friend’s Park at Klyde Warren Park

Soak up the Downtown vibe, and views of Downtown in the new location of the park located at Southwest corner of Pearl Street and Woodall Rogers. Best new feature- shade! Mature trees offer a respite from the direct sun.

Best In Show

While there are many events for dogs in Dallas throughout the year , a favorite for participants and observers is The Pooch Parade at the iconic Easter In Turtle Creek Park event.

We havent even scratched the surface here but suffice it to say you and your best friend have a plethora of paw-ssibilities in Dallas!
